July Update


Hello everyone

To make it short there won't be an update for the game this month. At first I was thinking about doing a patron update only but except for one new exclusive Outfit there wouldn't have been much new content. I'm sorry but my focus at the moment is not in creating new content but working on fixing and improving existing content and build up a stronger foundation for the game. I said already in a post that this may happen.

This won't really make it up to you but here is an overview on what I am working right now.

If this things are finished or in a state new content can be build on without worry, the focus will be back on creating new content, character, outfits and more. I'm not saying that during this periode of the developement there won't be any updates and no new content but I can't do it every month. It just does not make sense to rush the absolut minimum at the end of the month together just to have a small update, while halting everything else during this periode.

Here are some bullet points I'm working on

Quest Log:

The Quest Log will replace Key Items and the Unlock overview and put everything (or most of the content) that can be unlocked in the game in one sheet. Additional to that it also will have "live" updates and I will explain what that means in a moment.

The Questlog is sortet in 5 categories: Story-/Game Events for basic content unlocks like the Black Market and other shops, unlocking new characters and also unlocking story events which will be added later to the game.

Character Quests for unlocking new outfits and other character specific unlocks

Maps for content that can be unlocked through interacting with objects and NPC's in maps. This is also content that will be added mostly in the future.

Crafting for unique content that can be unlocked by doing crafts. Again something we will explore more in the future.

And Mini Games. This is a little bit related to Map interactions but not restricted to one map so I made a seperate category. This includes the digging mini game and things that come in the future like fishing and fighting hostile NPCs

If you wonder about Punishment games. Punishments will be unlocked through different means and can be found in different categories. Also the progress you can make in specific Punishment will be shown at the end of the punishment. However I'm not sure yet if I want to keep this or just have all actions unlocked from the beginning to make it faster and easier to set up punishments. It's something I have to think about.

Under the categories you see the different Questlines and this overview here will have a colorcode so you know exactly what you have finished and what not. White is unfinished, red is finished and yellow is finished for this updated but more quests will be added later.

Opening a Questline will give an overview like this. Here you see all unlocked quests, a short description what you have to do and it's progression. Again with the same color codes.

One issue right now is that the unlocks information and Key items are a little bit hidden in the option screen. The quest log will be not only easier to find I also will add "live" updates.

This means that if you finish or progress in a quest your progression will be shown for a short moment on the right of the screen. This gives you informations about your progress in a quest but also what you have to do if the description didn't tell you enough.

Finally if you finish a Quest that leads to unlocking a follow up quest (As example if you defeat Naris for the first time the Quest to get the Black Market will be unlocked) this new quests will also pop up and give you the informations about this new quests.


Matching content for all (female) base models:

What I mean here is having matching Outfits, customizations and also animations for punishments for all base models I am using right now. At the moment I have 14 base models I am using and new characters will get sorted to one of this models or body types. I won't add any new body types until I made some progress here and even then I probably will first do alteration of the models that already exist like different bust sizes etc.

Anyway to the points I'm working on here is the following. I have to reedit rogue models to the 14 existing. Rogue Models are models with the same or very similar body types like one of the 14 base models but with different rigs. At the moment I do this for Wonder Woman who get's the same body as Maya and then I will do the same for Naris who will get the same model as Bulma. Sadly I did a little bit too much altering with Naris to test different things out, that her rig isn't really worth keeping and Bulma's is better, it's basicly 2.0 of Naris. But Naris has already so much content that this may take a moment.

Matching Outfits. To give all characters a basic selection of already unlocked Outfits of different characters. This won't be all Outfits already added to the game. I mean in the future yes everything but because this is one of the points that will take the most time I will have to first limit this work goal to a handfull of Outfits and then build on of them.

This will also include the customization section where you can build your own outfits from clothing of already unlocked outfits. However there will be some additional work because of missing and unfinished game mechanics, like Hair selection or color pattern selection etc.

Also Punishments are part of this. To have some base punishment animations for all characters and not just having everything all over the place is an important goal. The punishment games is something that bugs me for a while now and needs a lot of work. Also here I'm not only talking about already existing Punishment games but also new ones, especially with more then one characters. For a while now I didn't add much in that direction because I felt it makes things even worse because for selecting a specific punishment you not only need 1 specific character in the game but 2 or more. But the solution is to have substitutions. This includes faceless and semitransparent Phantom Characters that can be used instead of a player character, toys that can be unlocked and also things like strap-on's and futanari options to replace male characters with female ones.

So punishments are a big part of this updates and I really hope I can with this changes make here an important leap in the right direction.


Crafting:

Crafting will be a big part in the future of the game and sadly is one of the things I only added rushed with minimum content and not much of them is used. I worked on and actually finished an element of the crafting that opens up the whole crafting part. Sadly I couldn't test it out yet and even if that part is finished I still have to do the content that opens up after that. So releasing an update just with this still wouldn't add much new content. So there is still more work to do here. But I hope with the changes, additions and also the Quest Log everyone will get used to crafting and use it regulary because it will be important.

I also have to say that the Blacksmith is only 1/3 of crafting that will be in the game however the mechanics will be the same just the content is different. There will be cooking and I already made the kitchen map and Erina from Food Wars (both in testing) to start the introduction for cooking. Food will be important to restore AP but also other things. And the third one will be Alchemy which inludes crafting chemicals and magic object.


This are the 3 main points and most "important" ones to go forward. There are other things like the interactivity in maps I already spoke of. Objects and also NPC's you can interact with and making the maps that already exist more lively and detailed. However this is a little bit a mix of both, necessery to build up the foundation of the game and new content. So it has only a semi priority for now. Also Attributes and abilities of characters is very close to the interactivity in maps but can also change the game flow. The goal is that you can also engage in H-scenes during a game and without going to the punishment game by interacting with NPC's, objects or using abilities on your opponents. Much is plant but like I said it is a mix of new and already existing content but mostly new content.

There are also smaller things that have to be done like adjusting 3d models, textures and animations, also fixing none game breaking bugs and things like that.


I will try to keep you updated about the progress I make a little bit more here and in discord from time to time because I don't want to write a novel like this every day.
